Review:
It's a remarkable coincidence how two very different films revolving around real-life politicians shared the spoils at last week's Indonesian Film Festival awards. While the more accessible Habibie & Ainun -- a romantic drama based on former president B. J. Habibie's recollections of his life with his wife, who died in 2010 -- took three prizes, it was the stirring historical epic Sang Kiai – about Hasyim Asy'ari, the founder of the southeast Asian country's largest Islamic organization – which brought home the Best Film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Sound Editing awards.

Story line:
Habibie & Ainun is an Indonesia drama movie which was released on December 20, 2012, in which in less than 14 days has already had 2.1 millions viewers. At launch, the movie is watched by the sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, accompanied by the 16 th Governor of Jakarta, Ir. H. Joko Widodo, and by the movie's main character himself, the third President of the Republic of Indonesia, Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. The movie is based on the memoir written by Habibie for his wife, Hasri Ainun Habibie.

Rudy Habibie an aircraft expert genius who has a big dream: to devote himself to the Indonesian people by making airplane to unify them. While Ainun is a smart young doctor with a bright future career.

In 1962, they meet again after long time no see at Bandung City. Habibie falls in love with her instantly. But Ainun, she does not just fall in love with him, but has faith in  Habibie's vision and dream. They get married and fly to Germany.

Have dreams will never be easy. Habibie and Ainun know it. Their way of love is built in line with the sieze of their dream. The cold snow German, sacrifice, pain, loneliness and temptations of wealth and power as they return to Indonesia accompany the journey of two lives into one.

For Habibie, Ainun is everything. Ainun is eyes to see his life. For Ainun Habibie is everything, filler of her  life. But every story has an end, every dream has a limit. Then at one point, two soul mates realized; will their love last forever?

5 Cm

In movie theater: 12-12-12

Story line:

5 CM  movie is based on a bestseller novel written by Donny Dhirgantoro which has the same title as the movie '5 cm' telling about 5 best friends. They are Genta (Fedi Nuril), Zafran (Herjunot Ali), Riani (Raline Shah), Ian (Igor Saykoji), and Arial (Denny Sumargo). They have different characters. Genta the leader, the poetic one Zafran, Ian who is no day without Indomie, Arial who loves fitness but be afraid of  girl, and Riani the only girl among the five who is very attentive to all of them.

Every week for 10 years they always had their Saturday night together. No matter how close they are, this situation indeed triggers boredom. Therefore, Genta - the leader should make a decision: "they won't meet and get in touch each other for 3 months!" And for 3 months, they should pursue their delayed dreams. Especially Ian, he must finish his thesis. Among them only Ian is not graduated yet.

3 months without communication is not an easy thing for them. However, Genta had prepared a plan which they would never forget for the rest of their lives. The plan is: go hiking to the highest peak in Java Island (Indonesia)- Mahameru peak.

This movie successes to explore the beauty of Ranu Pane, Ranu Kumbolo, Sea of Cloud, and the Supreme peak of Mahameru Mountain.
